A man was stabbed Friday in the Winnetka area, and an investigation was underway.
The crime occurred about 8:40 a.m. in the 20800 block of Sherman Way, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
The severity of the man’s injury was not immediately known, police said.
Police said the suspect was a man in his 30s, who is believed to have used a hunting knife in the attack before fleeing.
