Firefighters knocked down a fire Sunday inside an apartment building in the Baldwin Hills/Crenshaw area.
The fire at 3950 S. Nicolet Ave. was reported at 5:25 p.m., according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange.
The department dispatched 20 firefighters to the scene and extinguished the flames in 16 minutes, Prange said.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remained under investigation.
