Firefighters made quick work Friday of a blaze in a four-story apartment building in the Harvard Heights area, and no injuries were reported.
The fire was reported at 4:09 p.m. in a top-floor unit of the building in the 1200 block of South Manhattan Place, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A knockdown on the fire was declared in just 11 units, with crews preventing the fire from extending to other adjacent units and the building’s attic, according to the LAFD.
There was no immediate word on a cause of the fire or amount of damage caused.
