One person was killed Monday morning in a multi-vehicle crash on the Hollywood (101) Freeway in Studio City.
The crash occurred at 2:18 a.m. on the northbound Hollywood Freeway south of Lankershim Boulevard, California Highway Patrol Officer Elizabeth Kravig told City News Service.
The crash victim was pronounced dead at the scene, Kravig said. Crash details and the age and gender of the victim were not immediately available.
A SigAlert was issued at 2:46 a.m. shutting down all northbound lanes of the Hollywood Freeway and diverting traffic off at Lankershim Boulevard during the investigation and clean-up.
