Firefighters from the Riverside County Fire Department rescued a fallen hiker Saturday in Palm Desert.
The incident was reported around 1 p.m. Saturday on the Henderson Trail, and the hiker suffered minor injuries, according to the department.
“Firefighters hiked to the victim’s location and assisted the victim to the bottom of the trail,” officials said.
The hiker was taken to a hospital by ambulance. No further information was immediately available.
