Los Angeles firefighters put out a non-injury blaze at a downtown commercial building Saturday in under 25 minutes.
The fire was reported at 5:29 p.m. in a 16,000-square-foot building at 1068 S. San Julian St., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Nicholas Prange.
“The first 66 LAFD firefighters to arrive found a 400-foot-by-40-foot structure with fire inside, the majority of which was isolated to a mezzanine,” Prange said.
Firefighters gained access to the flames and put them out by 5:53 p.m., he said. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation, he said.
