A man was shot dead and another man was wounded during a shooting Monday morning in Carson near the SouthBay Pavilion Mall, authorities said.
Deputies were dispatched at 12:03 a.m. to 20700 S. Avalon Blvd., regarding an assault with a deadly weapon and a male down, according to a watch commander at the Carson sheriff’s station.
Paramedics dispatched to the location at 12:04 a.m. rushed a person to a hospital. That person’s condition was not immediately known, according to a county fire department dispatcher.
