A 38-year-old man was arrested for allegedly possessing ghost guns and narcotics in Riverside, authorities announced Saturday.
Larry Delgado of Riverside was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside Friday afternoon after a traffic stop and a search warrant was served at his residence.
Deputies from the Lake Elsinore Station Special Enforcement Team conducted a traffic stop in the 20000 block of Van Buren Avenue at noon Friday and found narcotics and several weapons, according to the department.
The search warrant, served at his house in the 8600 block of Merrick Street, resulted in the seizure of 31 assault rifles, un-serialized “ghost” guns, a stolen rifle, several thousand rounds of ammunition, a silencer and explosive-making materials, according to the department.
The investigation is ongoing.
