A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Wednesday in Huntington Beach, police said.
The 25-year-old Huntington Beach man died at the scene of the crash, which occurred at about 2 a.m. Wednesday on Yorktown Avenue near Waterbury Lane, the Huntington Beach Police Department reported.
His name was not immediately available for release.
Authorities said it was not yet know whether impaired driving was a factor in the fatal accident.
“Based on the preliminary investigation, the motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Yorktown Avenue west of Waterbury Lane just prior to the collision,” police said.
