Authorities Wednesday were working to take a person into custody who was barricaded in a residence in Topanga.
The incident began at about 11 a.m. Wednesday, when deputies went to the 21200 block of Colina Drive on a report that a person was trespassing at the property, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
A standoff between deputies and the alleged trespasser ensued, and it was continuing Wednesday afternoon.
No injuries were immediately reported.
A SWAT team response had been requested preliminarily, but was canceled, the sheriff’s department reported.
