A fire at a bakery in a Van Nuys strip mall was extinguished in 27 minutes by 36 firefighters, officials said Saturday.
The fire was reported at 10:47 p.m. Friday and 36 firefighters responded to 12630 Raymer St., where they found flames coming out of one unit of the mall, Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange said.
The building’s fire sprinklers prevented the flames from spreading, Prange said.
No injuries were reported.
