One person remains missing Tuesday after seven others were rescued from a swollen San Gabriel River in Azusa.
Firefighters and rescue personnel from the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded at 6:09 p.m. Monday to North Todd and West Sierra Madre avenues near Encanto Park where they learned the victims had been swept into the river, KABC reports.
The victims were rescued via helicopter.
Six dogs where also pulled from the raging river.
