A man was wounded Saturday when he was shot in Bellflower.
The shooting occurred at about 12:45 p.m. at Los Angeles Street and Clark Avenue, according to Lt. M. Stonich of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Lakewood station.
“The victim was hit two times,” Stonich told City News Service. Paramedics took him to Long Beach Memorial Medical Center where he was expected to survive.
Suspect information was not immediately available.
