An overnight driver’s license/sobriety checkpoint in South El Monte netted six arrests and one citation, authorities said Saturday.
The six arrests were for: driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of marijuana, driving without a license and a no bail warrant, driving on a suspended license, driving without an ignition interlock device installed on the vehicle, and driving on a suspended license from a prior DUI conviction, the Sheriff’s Information Bureau reported.
The checkpoint on Santa Anita Avenue near Central Avenue began at 6 p.m. Friday and ended at 2 a.m. Saturday.
