Two men were found with injuries consistent with a battery in Moreno Valley Saturday.
Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Moreno Valley Station responded to the 12800 block of Willow Tree Avenue regarding an assault around 12:40 a.m. on Saturday.
Upon arrival, deputies located a 43-year-old man suffering from injuries to his face consistent with a battery. The man was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Deputies also found a 49-year-old man with injuries consistent with battery.
It was unknown if the men knew each other, but they were both Moreno Valley residents.
The investigation was ongoing.
