It took nearly three dozen firefighters a little over half an hour to put out flames in a two-story garage attached to a home in the Studio City area of Los Angeles.
The fire was reported just before 5:45 p.m. at 3571 N. Berry Drive, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Brian Humphrey.
The firefighters had to confine and put out flames Humphrey described as “stubborn.”
Paramedics evaluated a woman at the scene and took her to a hospital for “a yet to be determined medical need,” he said.
The cause of the fire was under investigation, he said.
