A male victim sitting at a Moreno Valley bus stop was robbed Saturday by two suspects, including one armed with a handgun.
The robbery was reported at 9:20 a.m. in the 21400 block of Box Springs Road, said Riverside County sheriff’s Sgt. Marcos Acosta.
The suspects approached the male and demanded his property, Acosta said. They then fled in a vehicle.
It was the second armed robbery within 12 hours in Moreno Valley involving two suspects.
A business in the 27000 block of Eucalyptus Avenue was held up around 9:55 p.m. Friday by two men, one armed with a gun, sheriff’s officials said. They fled in a vehicle after taking an undisclosed amount of cash.
