A body washed ashore from the San Gabriel River in Pico Rivera Saturday.
The discovery was made about 2:50 p.m. alongside the San Gabriel River between Washington Boulevard and Slauson Avenue, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sheriff’s homicide detectives were investigating the death.
