A man jumped to his death from a freeway overpass in Boyle Heights Monday.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, firefighters received reports about the fatal plummet at around 1:45 p.m. at the eastbound/southbound Hollywood (101) Freeway transition to the eastbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. LAFD officials said a witness told police the man jumped from the overpass.
