A man was fatally struck by a vehicle in Torrance Sunday whose motorist stayed at the scene and cooperated with police, authorities said.
The crash occurred just after 2 a.m. Sunday in the area of Carson Street and Western Avenue, according to Sgt. Ron Salary of the Torrance Police Department.
Paramedics rushed the victim to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The driver was not impaired, Salary said.
No further information was immediately available.
