A motorcyclist was critically injured Wednesday evening in a collision with a car in Harbor City.
The collision occurred at 1733 W. Pacific Coast Highway, west of Figueroa Street, was reported at 9:35 p.m., according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The car was on its side following the collision and the trapped driver needed to be freed by firefighters, Stewart said.
Both the driver of the car and the motorcyclist were taken to a hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters., Stewart said.
The driver’s condition was not known.
