A person died in what authorities said was a “medical emergency” in Woodcrest Friday.
Officers from the California Highway Patrol responded at 1:28 a.m. to Ridgeway Avenue and Van Buren Boulevard where they found the victim, a CHP spokesman told City News Service.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two vehicles were at the scene but according to the CHP the victim’s death was “not the result of a traffic collision.”
