A man who jumped or fell from a freeway overpass in the Westchester area Thursday died at the scene.
Paramedics were sent to the juncture of the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway and the San Diego (405) Freeway about 1:30 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
“LAFD responded to reports of a person who jumped off the 105 (Freeway) overpass to the 405 (Freeway),” according to an LAFD statement. “Firefighters located one patient … determined deceased on scene.”
The man apparently was in his 30s, according to the California Highway Patrol. Traffic was routed away from the area while an investigation was conducted.
