Firefighters Wednesday were sent to rescue three workers who were trapped when a structure partially collapsed at a building construction site in Glendale.
The problem was reported late Wednesday morning in the 1200 block of South Glendale Avenue.
One worker was brought to safety shortly before 1 p.m., and firefighters continued their efforts to rescue the others. The workers apparently were using a crane to install metal roof trusses on the building, according to reports from the scene.
No injuries were immediately reported. The circumstances of the collapse were under investigation.
