A fire at an abandoned restaurant in the Exposition Park neighborhood was quickly extinguished Thursday.
Firefighters responded at 3:27 a.m. to 3767 S. Normandie and Exposition avenues where they found flames shooting from the one-story building and quickly began defensive maneuvers, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange.
It took 30 firefighters 22 minutes to put out the fire. No injuries were reported.
