Human remains recently found in Santa Monica have been identified as those of a man who had been reported missing from Los Angeles in 2021, authorities said.
The remains were found on April 25 in the courtyard of an abandoned property in the 2900 block of Santa Monica Boulevard, the Santa Monica Police Department reported.
On Monday, the remains were identified by the Los Angeles County coroner’s office as those of Beau Mann, who was 39 at the time that he was last seen on Nov. 30, 2021, Santa Monica police said.
Mann was reported missing to the Los Angeles Police Department on Dec. 4, 2021.
“The Los Angeles County coroner took possession of the remains and (investigators) are currently working to determine the cause of death,” Santa Monica police said.
