Four people were arrested — one on a felony warrant and three on suspicion of driving while intoxicated — during a DUI checkpoint in Riverside, authorities said Saturday.
In addition to the four arrests, 35 motorists were cited for operating a vehicle unlicensed or while on a suspended or revoked license, according to Sgt. James Elliott of the Riverside Police Department.
The checkpoint, which was conducted from 8 p.m. Friday until 2 a.m. Saturday at La Sierra Avenue near Spaulding Road, screened a total of 923 vehicles, Elliott said.
