Four people were arrested – one on a felony warrant and three on suspicion of driving while intoxicated – during a driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol operation Saturday in Riverside.
In addition to the four arrests, 35 motorists were arrested for operating a vehicle unlicensed or while suspended or revoked license, said Sgt. James Elliot t of the Riverside Police Department.
The checkpoint, which was conducted from 8 p.m. Friday until 2 p.m. Saturday at La Sierra Avenue near Spaulding Road, screened a total of 923 vehicles, Elliott said.
