A man was found dead Thursday after apparently drowning in a backyard swimming pool in Encino.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to the 17000 block of West McCormick Street, just east of White Oak Avenue, around 3:05 p.m. to a report of a man found dead in a backyard swimming pool, according to department spokesman Brian Humphrey.
The man’s identity was not immediately made public.
The apparent fatal drowning was under investigation.
