A 50-year-old developmentally disabled man who suffers from depression went missing Saturday from a residential facility in Mission Viejo, and authorities appealed to the public for help locating him.
Harold Bayle is believed to have walked away from the facility between 3-6 a.m. Saturday, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
Bayle requires regular medication and it did not appear he took any of the medications with him, sheriff’s officials said.
He was described as Asian, about 6-feet tall and 360 pounds, with brown eyes. He is articulate and aware of his surroundings, officials said.
Anyone with information regarding Bayle’s whereabouts was asked to call sheriff’s dispatch at 714-647-7000.
