The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Sunday circulated a photo of a 26-year-old man diagnosed with schizophrenia who went missing in Lakewood.
Cong Toanhoang Tran was last seen at about 7 p.m. Friday near his home in the 2100 block of Sparrow Hill Lane, the Sheriff’s Information Bureau reported.
Tran was described as a 5-feet-6-inch tall Asian man weighing 170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Authorities believe Tran’s possible destinations could include the Cerritos Mall or the Los Angeles area for upcoming gay pride events.
The sheriff’s Missing Person Unit urged anyone with information regarding Tran’s whereabouts to call them at 323-890-5500.
