Sheriff’s detectives asked for the public’s help Sunday to find a 66-year-old man suffering from dementia who went missing in an unincorporated area of Los Angeles County.
Oscar Vega Gomez was last seen Wednesday at around 6 p.m. in the 12100 block of Bremerton Way, a couple blocks west of Magic Johnson Park, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Gomez stands 5-feet-7 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and a goatee.
He was last seen wearing a navy blue jacket and dark pants, the LASD reported.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts was asked to call the LASD’s missing persons unit at 323-890-5500. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
