Firefighters knocked down an RV fire in Northridge Saturday that spread to some trees and briefly threatened a nearby commercial building.
The fire was reported at 1:06 p.m. at 18830 W. Bryant St., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Firefighters quickly deployed hose lines to get water on the RV and tree fires, and successfully prevented flames from entering the nearby building. It took 18 firefighters 18 minutes to extinguish the flames, officials said.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
