A motorcycle driver and passenger were injured Saturday evening when they ran over debris left when another vehicle struck barricade barrels on a Long Beach (710) Freeway exit.
The crash occurred about 8:20 p.m. on the Sixth Street off-ramp from the southbound Long Beach Freeway, said Long Beach police Lt. Michael Deprete.
Long Beach paramedics took the man driving the motorcycle and the girl who was his passenger to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries, Deprete said.
“Intoxication may be a factor in the primary collision and the investigation is ongoing,” he said.
