A boy and girl who ran away from their Long Beach home returned back unharmed and were reunited with a relative, authorities said Saturday.
According to the Long Beach Police Department, 13-year-old Gabriela Lopez and 11-year-old Eddie Bernal Jr. have a history of running away. They were last seen around 11 a.m. Friday running away from a home in the 4000 block of East 10th Street, police said.
The pair returned home at 9 p.m. unharmed and were reunited with a relative, police said.
They ran away, presumably on foot, without functioning cell phones or tracking devices, and with an unspecified amount of cash, authorities said.
