A firefighter suffered some minor burn injuries battling a fire Sunday morning at a two-story home in Irvine, authorities said.
The firefighter was taken to a hospital for his injuries, the Orange County Fire Authority reported.
Firefighters dispatched at 5 a.m. to Alexandria, near Alton Parkway, had the fire out at 5:47 a.m.
The blaze damaged the first and second floors, as well as the attic of the home.
No other injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under reinvestigation.
