A motorcyclist was killed in a crash with a utility box in Santa Ana Sunday, authorities said.
The Santa Ana Police Department received multiple calls regarding a traffic collision in the area of Dyer Road and Bradford Place around 7:52 a.m. Sunday. Police and the Orange County Fire Authority responded to the scene and found a man down in the eastbound lanes of Dyer, west of Bradford.
OCFA personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
Based on the preliminary investigation, police said it appeared that no other vehicle was involved in the crash.
