A person was taken into custody Wednesday at the scene of a small grass fire in Elysian Park, authorities said.
Firefighters were sent to the 400 block of West Solano Avenue about 9:30 a.m., according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
“While on scene, firefighters witnessed a male — age unknown — setting a fire,” Stewart said in a statement.
The person was taken into custody, and an investigation was being conducted involving personnel from the LAFD and the Los Angeles Police Department.
The fire was quickly extinguished, and no injuries were reported.
