Fire crews knocked down a non-injury house fire Friday in Koreatown.
It took more than 70 firefighters 23 minutes to extinguish flames in the 800 block of South Norton Avenue, near West Ninth Street, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The greater-alarm fire was reported around 3:45 p.m. in the attic and converted garage of a two-story Craftsman-style home that was vacant at the time of the fire, Stewart said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
