A motorist backing out of a parking space crashed into an apartment building in Valley Glen Thursday, but nobody was injured.
The crash occurred around 3:10 p.m. in the 12000 block of Vanowen Street near Goodland Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The vehicle wound up about three-quarters of the way into the building, according to the LAFD. While no injuries were reported and nobody was trapped, an LAFD search-and-rescue team was called to the scene to determine the best way to remove the vehicle from the structure.
