Firefighters knocked down a building fire Sunday in the city of Riverside.
The blaze in the 6400 block of Sycamore Canyon Road was reported at 1:10 p.m., according to the Riverside Fire Department.
The department dispatched four engine companies and two truck companies to the scene, the fire department reported. The building suffered a $15,000 loss.
The fire was fully contained by 2:30 p.m.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remained under investigation. It was unclear what type of building was burned.
