A fire burned about three acres of brush in Agoura Hills Tuesday, but no structures were threatened.
Firefighters were sent to Kanan and Agoura roads shortly before 9 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Northbound lanes of Kanan Road were closed as a precaution, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The fire’s forward progress was stopped at around 9:30 a.m., authorities said.
