A fire at a single-story house in Valley Glen was knocked down Wednesday with no reported injuries.
Fire crews responded to the 13200 block of West Vanowen Street, a couple blocks east of Fulton Avenue, at around 2:45 p.m. to a report of a residential fire, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
It took 20 firefighters 20 minutes to extinguish the flames that burned inside the walls, preventing the fire from extending to the attic.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
