Firefighters knocked down a detached garage fire that spread to nearby vegetation in Sunland Saturday.
The blaze at 10650 N. Nassau Ave. was reported at 4:20 p.m., according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.
The department dispatched 22 firefighters to the scene and extinguished the blaze in 18 minutes. No structures were burned, Humphrey said.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remained under investigation.
