One person was killed in a solo vehicle crash in the unincorporated Calabasas area of Los Angeles County, authorities said Sunday.
The crash was reported at 10:09 p.m. Saturday at Agoura and Lost Hills roads, Sgt. G. Peters of the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station told City News Service.
The vehicle was smoking but there was no fire, Los Angeles County Fire Department spokesman Craig Little said.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, Peters said.
It did not appear alcohol was a factor in the crash but an investigation was underway, he said.
