A fire damaged a duplex in the East Hollywood area Monday, but no one was hurt.
Firefighters sent to the two-story building in the 1200 block of North Lyman Place at 6:22 a.m. extinguished the flames in 17 minutes, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
