A man in his 40s was hospitalized this evening after being shot in the Boyle Heights area of Los Angeles.
The shooting was reported at 6 p.m. at Evergreen Avenue and Eighth Street, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Tony Im told City News Service.
Paramedics took the victim to a hospital, where his condition was not available, Im said. He was described as between the ages of 40 and 50.
A white sedan occupied by two males was seen fleeing eastbound on Eighth, he said.
