Two lost hikers were hoisted aboard a Los Angeles Fire Department Air Ops helicopter, but a search was on for a third hiker, who left the others.
A 911 call was received around 9:10 p.m. Saturday and fire department personnel responded by land and air to 1501 N. Will Rogers State Park Road, according to LAFD spokesperson Margaret Stewart.
The hikers were not injured, Stewart said. It was unclear why the group split up.
