Authorities Wednesday identified a man who was fatally shot in Long Beach.
The shooting was reported about 4:40 a.m. Tuesday in the 3400 block of Andy Street, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Michael Alex Toloai, 36, who was homeless, died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
According to police, Toloai had suffered gunshot wounds to his upper body. No arrests were reported, and no suspect description was available.
