The suspect in a Moreno Valley homicide investigation from July was identified and arrested, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department announced Thursday.
Deputies from the Moreno Valley sheriff’s station responded to a report of shots fired at a residence in the 26000 block of Coronada Drive in Moreno Valley on July 3 around 12:45 a.m. during a party.
When deputies arrived, they found three people at the location suffering from gunshot wounds.
One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene, and another victim died at a hospital. The third victim was listed in critical condition in July, but their condition was unknown as of Thursday.
The suspect identified as Donte Jeremiah Barlow was arrested on Monday, according to the Riverside County Jail Information Management System and was being held without bail.
